if this happened on a ship and trying to log it?
Well, Chief, you see, there was this smell of cooking snake and then 'BOOM' all the lights went out.
This is better then the mouse that shut Vancouvers lights out a few years ago.
Snake brings LNG facility in Thailand to standstill
06/ 02/ 2006
KUALA LUMPUR, February 6 (RIA Novosti) - A natural gas facility in southern Thailand was brought to a standstill Monday by a blackout blamed on a snake.
A plant pumping liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the southern Thai province of Songkhla to Malaysia had to suspend operations after its electricity system was downed by a stray boa constrictor.
According to executives at Trans Thai-Malaysia, which operates the facility, the reptile caused a short circuit in the system by wrapping around an electricity transmission line and clamping down on a high-voltage transformer.
Trans Thai-Malaysia is a joint venture between Malay petroleum giant Petroliam Nasional and Thailand's PTT. Its LNG plant has a maximum pumping capacity of 166,000 metric tons.
